Chicago’s Hottest Nightclubs
Now that Chicago’s RIFF Music Lounge is closed, people are looking for other nightclubs where they can dance and have fun. Some of the most popular clubs in Chicago offer music in different forms, such as live bands, acoustic acts, and DJs. If you’re ready to bust a move, here are a few hot spots in Chicago.
Smart Bar in Wrigleyville
Many internationally renowned DJs call this their home including Derrick Carter, Black Madonna, and Mark Farina. It’s a cozy place with a great sound system that makes it the perfect place to dance the night away.
East Room in Logan Square
Whether it’s an after-party, bachelorette party, or other activity, the East Room is a popular music club for the “with it” crowd. Depending on the night you visit, you may find anything from national DJ acts to local favorites spinning your favorite dance hits.
Beauty Bar in River West/West Town
If you’re into 1960s vintage furniture, you’re going to love Beauty Bar because it’s decorated to the hilt in beauty salon furniture. Hanging out under the disco ball is great fun, but how about having a drink while getting a manicure in the front room?
Disco in River North
This fun club offers a giant, lighted dance floor and some pretty massive mirror balls to create a throwback club reminescent of the 1970s. In addition to disco music they also play soul, funk, and house music dance cuts.
LiqrBox in River North
The River North Nightclub is a huge, tri-level space with neon lighting, bright sculptures, and graffiti decorating the long corridor walls, where you’ll find patrons downing shots that come out of miniature slot machines. Many nightclubs close earlier, but this popular spot stays open until 4am (5am on Saturdays).
